The figure of the Navigator has been the most requested profession especially by graduates and new graduates.
In the last few months, it has been all anyone has talked about. A few days after the publication 38,052 applications had already been received, 13 times the number of positions advertised.
On April 18 the ANPAL published the announcement for the selection of 3,000 Navigators, the figures who will provide technical assistance to the staff of the Employment Centers in finding work for the beneficiaries of the Citizenship Income.
Among the candidates, at the moment, the degree obtained by the majority is that in Law (13,738 people). This is followed by Psychology (7,199), Economic and Business Sciences (5,294), Political Science (3,195) and Economics (3,007).
Early data also shows that more applications were received from women and the age of most applicants is between 30 and 40.
For the competition are expected between 100 thousand and 150 thousand applications but despite the numbers, ANPAL will publish the ranking of admission already the week after the deadline for the transmission of applications.
The first skim for the selection of 60 thousand admitted to the tests, will be made based on qualifications: the Bachelor’s degree and the age of the candidates will be decisive.
In fact, according to the instructions contained in the Notice, candidates will be admitted:
- with the best grade
- the youngest (in the event of a further tie, all candidates of the same age will be admitted).
The provincial lists of those admitted to the test will be available on the site www.anpalservizi.it/web/selezionenavigator/ the week after nominations close.
Announcements about the test, however, will be published simultaneously on the site www.selezionenavigator.anpalservizi.it or on www.lavoro.gov.it and at least 10 days before the date of the first test.
The selection test consists of a test, to be completed in 100 minutes, with 100 multiple choice questions on disciplines about:
- 10 general culture questions;
- 10 psycho-aptitude questions;
- 10 questions of logic;
- 10 questions on computer science;
- 10 questions on models and instruments of intervention of labour market policy;
- 10 questions on citizenship income;
- 10 questions on the regulation of employment contracts;
- 10 questions on the education and training system;
- 10 questions on the regulation of the labour market;
- 10 questions on business economics.
Multiple exam sessions will be organized to ensure a smooth selection process. Each test will be different, as the questions will be drawn from an archive and reproduced in random order.
The following assessments will determine the final score:
- 1 point for each correct answer;
- 0 points for each answer not given;
- 4 for each incorrect or multi-choice answer.
Candidates with a minimum score of 60/100 will pass the selection process.
The winners will be selected among the most deserving of the provincial rankings, while the eligible non-winners may be re-elected in the following 24 months in case of needs in the chosen province or neighbouring provinces.
Rankings will be posted on the website within 7 days of the last exam session.
