The term mobbing has entered into common use for some time now to indicate harassment and psychological violence against a worker.

Also, the school context, as a working environment, is not exempt from episodes of mobbing. In the school environment mobbing occurs in different forms:

ascending: i.e., teachers versus school leader or even students versus teacher.
vertical, also called bossing: i.e., manager versus teacher or teacher versus students.
horizontal: i.e. between colleagues.

The mobber, who is always an individual well rooted in the territory, can count on the action of the wingmen, parents or colleagues who do not actively participate in the actions of psychological terror, but who facilitate them with a conniving attitude that isolates the victim.

Learning to recognize the potential risks of bullying and to prevent them means creating a more peaceful and productive work environment, a very important element to perform at best a profession with such a high level of responsibility as that of the teacher.
